Duty or Friendship?

Duties are important while friends are too. Does betraying your duties or betraying your friends sound worse to you? To me, it would be a really hard choice to make, since duties are things that should be done, or to be more exact, duties have to be done. But, friends mean everything to me. Of course, only the real friends are the ones that I would feel really guilty at if I betray them. Neither betraying people that have your back whenever you need them and wish the best for you nor betraying your duties will be a good decision. If I really had to choose, I would choose to betray my duties. Betraying duties normally would just harm myself, but betraying friends would hurt more than just one person. Although sometimes when you betray your duty, you might hurt someone else too, but they wouldn't be your friends. Hurting your friends could be one of the most serious crimes on the planet, and you will regret it if it really happens. Things I would normally consider about before I make those decisions will be ones like "how many people will be hurt, how painful would it be...etc". I wouldn't want to have to make decisions like this, but like I've said, if I really have to choose, I would choose to betray my duties.
